Home Just in Time

I thought I would blip a picture of an under-sink cabinet full of mouse droppings, but then I found this departed soul stuck to the back of a baseboard I was about to glue back to the wall... He's only recently dead, which was the benefit. In this weather, I could have come home to quite the smell.

Luckily, I have a very awesome neighbor, who not only kept my plants looking amazing but also had the (tough) kindness to come over and peel this poor guy from his sticky tomb. As I can't wait for my cat to get home... and my apartment is clearly not airtight (I chased one mouse out of my living room and I'm positive I saw another run from under the fridge to behind the cabinets) I called my landlord who will be sending a guy tomorrow.

All in all, it's been a very pleasant sort of day (this aside). I would have gone in to work, but the discovery of this chap sent me into a cleaning pitch... I cleaned excessively and am happily getting rid of a trunk load of random things. Life is so entertaining! :)
