Memorial Day picnic

Bob and I commemorated Memorial Day last evening by settling down in front of the TV to watch the marvelous Memorial program from Washington, DC, honoring all who have served to preserve peace and especially those who lost their lives while serving. Those of us here at home should never forget the debt we owe to them.

This afternoon Bob and I enjoyed a tasty picnic of barbecued ribs and chicken and all the side dishes. Good conversation in the company of friends rounded out the afternoon. Even the weather was wonderful!
