Tea in the forties

Mum and I went to town to investigate a potential new phone for her. It was a reasonably successful trip, and we came home with a small shortlist to investigate further. It was thirsty work though, so my mum treated me to a 1940's style cup of tea. It was in a new cafe in town which has been themed as a 1940's cafe/tearoom. What I liked best about it, was having a little tea-timer, to time the exact brewing time. Oh and the milk was served in mini milk bottles.
