Spent..

is how I feel after the excitement and all the travelling of the last few days.. rather like this poppy will be after all the rain we have had today.

The colour of the poppies are the brightest thing I have seen all day.. so here it is cheering up this BH monday..

After 11 hours travelling yesterday I feel rather tired today..the children have headed off again on the train so now the house is feeling very quiet other than the chirping on the tv of the little chicklets in the nest box.. I think we only have two remaining but can't be sure as the nest has been turned into a deep burrow and all we see is the beaks at feeding time.
