Swan family

It was a wet morning, so rather than joining the walking group, I decided to stay home and get some jobs done in the morning, and went into Fontainebleau to go swimming at lunchtime. Fortunately, by the time I went out again late afternoon to do a bit of grocery shopping, the skies were clearing and there was some sunshine, so before going to the supermarket, I drove down to the river in Héricy, and was pleased to find a swan family sunbathing on the grass. After a few minutes a mother and daughter arrived with some bread, which roused them from their slumber, and this shot shows the youngsters heading off after one parent towards the bread, while the other parent lags behind, seeming rather more cautious.
