Poppies and pepper spray

I had 5-6 stunning poppies then it rained, the teen bbq'd with friends (poppies are next to bbq) and then it rained some more, this is what's left.

Had a lovely morning with friends and breakfast, which reminds me, I need to google what distance a taser works over...ok, so 10.6m is the maximum. This was a subject of discussion because of the gun death figures floating about on FB & also the latest shooting rampage in America, quite how we moved from guns to pepper spray and tasers I don't remember, something to do with feeling safer walking about at night here as opposed to being in a large U.S. city...but then we realised that we don't actually get out at night much anymore...
