Castles in the clouds at Erice

Sicily Day 3 - Back Blip

We drove around countless hairpin bends today up 2460' to the ancient town of Erice. (You can also get there by cablecar from Trapani). It was an amazing place with old cobbled streets, but what made the day was the mists rolling in and out over the beautiful old building of the castle and churches. (I did a time lapse film of the clouds for 15 mins whilst we were here)
