Everybody Mango

The latest experiment in what-can-we-grow-from-seed? is this little Alphonso Mango. It'll be interesting to see how it develops over the year(s).

And I'll skim right over the latest German Contractor Debacle except to say the reputation of German workers for efficency and quality is perhaps based on an older version. Without exception, every single one we've had to employ has been a mickey-taking second-or-third-rater. Today's didn't bother to show up or to let us know - despite working in the house, he couldn't be arsed to either use the intercom or even phone.

It was Monday and we all know what Mondays are like. Mondays with rubbish contractors and horrid weather and...
