Boules

Tonight marked our (semi) triumphant return to the game of Petanque for the Barn.

We played away in Dinas Powys and both me and Dawn were a little bit nervous before we got there. It's been five years since we played a competitive match, so we had no idea how it would go.

Well we got off to a flyer! We won our first game back 13-7, although we did get stuck on 12 for a worrying few ends. The second match was a little more as we expected. We were competitive, but could not get enough boules in to put them under pressure. We ended up losing 13-4, but it was a great experience, and it was great to get back chucking boules again!
