Chives

Leave the chives too long without a trim and they want to flower. Doesn't make for great eating but after a while they burst into bloom and brighten the place up.
They're keeping the Christmas cactus company which is completely confused and just keeps flowering whenever it feels like it. Maybe we should break out the eggnog to make it feel at home - but come to think of it there's still a Chistmas pud sitting in the cupboard. That should do the trick!

Today being a bank holiday I got to listen to radio shows that usually pass me by. Which meant I heard Janice Forsyth's selection of best and worst covers of all time, especially this offering which strangely made it into the 'best' category. Awesome!
