Bluebelle amongst the Bluebells
A memorable day out with special friends in Perthshire.
A breakfast meet at the Black Watch Museum in Perth.
A walk beside the Tay, checking the flood markers, levy and floodgates.
Lots of purchases at the Craft Stalls beside the river.
Lunch in a church across the road, which had an art and photography exhibition on.
Afternoon in Branklyn Gardens, Perth, admiring the Meconopsis Blues (Himalayan Poppies) in profusion.
Headed north to Dunkeld, and then off up a very steep single track road with passing places to find these beautiful bluebell woods. I've never seen such a carpet of blue. We had great photo shoot here.
Further north to the Moulin Inn, near Pitlochry for dinner. Salmon starter and Venison main. Delicious.
