Charlie's thinking-deeply-about-stuff face is very similar to his I'm-in-a-strop-and-I'm-not-going-to-move-for-love-nor-money face.

I know where he gets his determined streak from. I've no idea about the deep & meaningful thoughts. I'm as shallow as a puddle in that regard.

I'm missing yesterday. That doesn't happen very often. It's a nice feeling.

(The scab on Charlie's face was from being whipped with a bunch of nettles. He was trying to explain to his chum about flowery nettles being the non-stinging ones, but apparently he didn't wait until Charlie had finished... the poor mother was mortified. Boys...)
