Wardrobe
I ordered a new Cooling Coat for Biscuit a few days ago and was hoping it would be delivered today, but I am still waiting...
Buying yet another coat for one of the dogs made me think, that they have more expensive and better equipped wardrobes than I do!
Each dog has a Back on Track winter coat (top right picture) to keep them warm on those very cold winter walks or whilst waiting in the car during the cold days.
Back on Track is made from a special kind of fabric, which has ceramic particles fused into the fibres. When heated, the ceramic particles radiate a heat back towards the body. This reflected heat is long-wave heat radiation, which is also known as long wave infrared radiation. This should increase blood circulation.
The boys also have Back on Track Mesh Rugs (bottom right picture) to use before and after training. These rugs are very light and not warm, but they still help increase blood circulation in the tissues, which helps to prevent injuries, relieve muscles tension and improves performance.
Then they have Tundershirts (bottom left picture), which they use in situations, where they need to be calmed. The constant pressure from the thundershirt has a calming effect on the nervous system, possibly by releasing a calming hormone like endorphins.
And finally they have the Cooling Coats (top left picture), which work through the cooling effect caused by water evaporation.
+ all the other winter coats I bought before I found the Back on Track ones!
But no cooling coat for Biscuit yet - maybe tomorrow...
And now back to the thesis. 33 pages written so far. 7 pages from the minimum number of pages that I need. The count down is on!
See you tomorrow!
