DDW Challenge; where I/they live

Salad days.

These little fellas are really starting to grow now. They live under a plastic cloche so have thumbed their noses, so to speak, at the rain and hail. Anniemay loves radishes and these will be available to add a certain piquancy to her salads in a few weeks time.

If I were entering the May Sisters’ Challenge I could say that I estimate their mean height to be around 3 cms. But I’m not, because they define ‘mean’ as an emotion, rather than a mathematical concept. Which is a bit mean of them.
