Maolochy, Loch Avich

Went to a friend's Yellow Book garden opening today. As soon as we got out of the car the heavens opened and sunshine and showers alternated all afternoon. It was good when the sun was out, but it wasn't enough to deter the midges, which were excruciating!

But in spite of the weather we enjoyed ourselves. It's hard to beat west of Scotland gardens in the springtime!
