A strange night

I went out on the town with Mike, David, and Kristen. Melissa's husband Justin was playing a CD release party in Richmond and it turned out to be quite a showing of old faces. A crazy night walking down suuuuuch deep memory lanes. More than a bit strange but also amazing to run into so many folks from way back when and see what they've been up to. Everything from married, kids, and a house to strung out on cocaine and heroine. And then there was Jesse, I sort of fit into my own category of person especially round these parts :)

Guitar and banjo strumming in a teeny smoke filled pub to pomp and pretension on display on the wood paneled floors of the Tobacco Company, a Richmond landmark in Shockoe slip by the river. I snapped this picture of David and Kristen there. Stopping in early to a reserved room for a friend. Leopard skin couches around the fire, vodka tonics and dressed up waitresses. More posh than I'm used to and just adding to the strangeness of the night that just got foggier and foggier as it went down memory lane....
