After a full morning and a healthy bite of the afternoon recovering from the night before, All but P (and G Funk) decanted to Paul's parents' place for a New Year dinner.

I was introduced (properly) to the concept of a first footing - where tall dark men are kicked out or visit with a gift for the New Year to wish the house prosperity (and warmth).

Had a lovely dinner (I really need to start eating sensibly after this holiday season)... But I have to admit being happy to get back to my bed.

The pictured chap is Oliver, a resident at the aforementioned abode.
