My Hermitage in the Glendalough Valley...

Dear Diary,

After the stress and strain of yesterday as I made my way to Glasgow and the chaos of the airport and drive out of Dublin, I finally made it to the incredible peace and tranquility of the Glendalough Valley, about 2 hours south of Dublin.

This is my little cottage, my hermitage. It is such a lovely and quiet place and I already feel the serenity I had on Iona returning. Everyone should have a place that they can retreat to when the world becomes overwhelming. I look forward to exploring this amazing landscape in the days ahead.
