Mozart

We were asked in ante natal if we had tried playing music to our babies yet. I know he's a fan of it because of my choir and I've been to the movies a lot recently and he goes crazy with all the noises. I have now tried experimenting with the headphones. First I put all my music on shuffle. He didn't like the soft easy listening of Brooke Fraser. He perked up when some Muse came on. He seems to like something fast paced. Even with the Mozart, he only gets excited when it's a faster song.

We are 5 days out from winter now but just for a special 'treat'(?) we had our first snow of the year today. We had everything today. Gales, sleet, rain...brrrr!
And the overnight low for tonight is -5C. Can't wait! The heatpump timer is going on for just before we get up tomorrow and the electric blankets will be left on low overnight.

One bonus of this cold weather is that I'm generally a pretty casual dresser so I'm not big on getting flashed up for work. I can now get away with flat boots, a warm jumper, a scarf and a wooly hat :) I just have to keep my nice blazer in reserve in case of important appointment.
