" THIS IS THE DAY "

As the weather has been extremely unpredictable today, I rushed out first thing this morning while the sun came out to play. I love these faithful Iris and as they dont last very long, thought I would 'catch' them before they look a mess. If you look closely you can see the rain drops still on the petals from the previous shower.

After I had completed a bit of judicial pruning from an over zealous plant, the heavens opened again and it stayed dark and damp for most of the afternoon. We watched the F1 from Monaco which was only the highlights and then managed to take Phoebe for a walk around our village.

Apart from that, have done very little and felt very lazy!! But I decided we both needed a quiet day. And with the prospect of another lie in tomorrow, yipee. We are hoping to get some rehearsing in for our next performance at Milverton on the 6 June. We wouldn't usually start rehearsing this soon, but it's a new song for us. Also we are planning to take some songs with us to Ibiza in June so we need to make decisions.
