Feather on the ground

Yesterday was wet and horrible. On the steps down to the river, I had noticed a feather, but I had already captured my blip. And I was in a hurry to get back to the office.

Today I am having a quick walk to get some fresh air, so I head to the steps. From the image you wouldn't know that it had been pouring down yesterday. The ground is dry as a bone. A bit dirtier than it was yesterday, but it still has some shininess that contrasts with the ground quite nicely.
