Thaw - aye, right.

I had been saying to Jim on the phone that we had a thaw, and was amazed when he told me about the 12" of snow he was having down in E. Lothian.

Then, before I went to bed, I went out to get some more coal to stoke up the fire, and this is what the coal looked like.

I guess the "No More Snow" headline is a few days off yet...
