Productive day

Having spent the weekend with friends, we headed straight out into the garden on our return to plant up and water our treasures...before we had even had a cuppa!!!

I managed to plant up two hanging baskets and two window boxes. They look a little sparse at the moment, but they will soon fill out.

We've also thinned out the veg plot and planted a hosta, hardy geranium, anemone, a grass, a white pulmonaria and a lucky oxalis which was a gift from our friends. Very spoilt.

Darren attached the new wires to train one of the clematis along as it has outgrown its trellis and wants to help cover the rest of the fence. He also tied in the new growth on our roses which have buds on now!

Tomorrow is a bank holiday. Resting day.
