My first home grown strawberries of 2014. Greenhouse grown, of course. Scotland hasn't acquired a Mediterranean climate.

They are always special. My late dad gave me the plants after we'd moved into this house - about 13-14 years ago. He loved gardening and he loved strawberries.

A strange day. Wet morning and evening. Dry in the afternoon. My plan worked, and I stayed dry on my 2 hours cycle.
