Riders In The Sky

Today was the annual Riders In The Sky fundraising event when a group of motorcycle enthusiasts undertake a 70 mile ride followed by a fun day to raise money for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, in memory of a local firefighter, charity worker and motorcycle enthusiast who was killed in a motorcycle accident a few years ago. Before today's event, they had raised over £23,000.

I captured them here in the High Street and the cavalcade of bikes had already been passing through for a good 5 minutes.

We've had a quiet day, swimming and planting the bedding plants we bought yesterday.

Just noticed that a year ago today, I was where I was yesterday. Me, a creature of habit>
