I have spent more time than I should taking pictures of blue tits today, but then I saw this jackdaw, emerging from my chimney. So much for the cowl, it seems to be offering them safety!

Went to Mams this morning to 'do'. I wasn't in a very good mood and she tried to make a joke of me being a slave. I didn't stay long!

Then off to work as I needed to understand something in the peace of an empty office. Now feeling smug, so a non essential purchase will be made to celebrate.
