West Pier

I'm not the first person to have blipped the remains of the West Pier at Brighton but the composition with the sea and the rocky shore and the blue skies was very beguiling so here it is.

Wonderful day of shopping and sunshine; Brighton was lovely and in Hove particularly there were a lot of family groups. Had a fab (late) breakfast in Iydea - gratis because they lost the order and kept us waiting - and bought some nice stuff for our house re-inventing project.

Met an old friend and a very young new friend and went to see an art installation in an abandoned warehouse with hundreds of pendulums which you could run and dodge between.

Drove back over the Devil's Dyke which was lovely apart from a bunch of yobs holding an illegal festival (which I don't mind but they were trashing the place big time and behaving anti-socially).

So a great day was had by all. Shame the weather is less than good for the next few days but today at least was special.
