Dancing to the Tune of the Sea

What a week, and another to come, so today was day 2 relaxation before the storm. Loved the idea that these boats were basking in the sunshine, more like floundering in the rain today though. It's nice to be able to potter with paint and create what you like the world to look like-this is a copy.

I had a look at the boats on the forth this afternoon, they bobbed up and down a bit like a high energy trampoline exercise and it reminded me of a quote I'd read from Michael Morpurgo.

“That's what sailing is, a dance, and your partner is the sea. And with the sea you never take liberties. You ask her, you don't tell her. You have to remember always that she's the leader, not you. You and your boat are dancing to her tune.”
