Moth

A Poplar Hawk Moth, probably, based on a fairly cursory bit of google-based identification. Anyway, it was very large and making a lot of noise as it flew about behind the living room curtains; once I'd captured it in a glass and waited for it to calm down and sit still I thought a portrait was in order before I released it outdoors.
