I Got The Job!

It was a long and difficult day at work today, struggling with KPIs and money, but my day got a whole lot better when Emma called for me at around 6pm to discuss Harrods. Whilst technically she can't say anything or officially announce it, she told me that if I still wanted the job then the position was mine. I was very pleased but hastily tried to write down details so I didn't forget what she had said.
Later in the day I had been starting to think that she wouldn't call, and then that she wouldn't offer me the job, but my doubts were unnecessary and I am very happy but also very petrified about being an ASM!

I called Luke on my walk home and he congratulated me and said he was heading out to get us a bottle of wine to celebrate. When I got home I saw that he had picked the nicest rosé wine called Barefoot, yummy! We toasted to our new adventures in London.

In the evening we looked for houses and flats in London and book marked a couple of places to view. We ate a delicious dinner of spring onion and garlic sausages with chips and watched some Modern Family before calling it a night.

Today I am grateful for new opportunities and being promoted.
