It's here

it has been seriously grey day here in Tui - wet and bloody freezing all day - winter stew and dumplings in the slow cooker and heat pump set at a very nice temperature. Glued to 'The Killing' on Soho all afternoon.

i decided to head out to McCracken's rest again to take a shot from the same spot as yesterday - to show the contrast. Also it was thundering and lightning by this point so thought I might get a lightning shot. Alas as I headed out of town the snow had already started settling on the roads, making them pretty treacherous. Decided the best course of action was o turn round and come home.

So a shot of the snow from the car instead. 20-40cm due tonight! Should be interesting!
