Busy Bee

Even in the late afternoon this bee is making the rounds of the newly opening blossoms on a ficus tree in the yard. As I walked around, I could hone in on where the buzzing was coming from. We lost some more trees in the yard with the high winds that fanned the fires last week. I helped cart lots of branches down to an ever-increasing mound that will eventually be chipped into mulch. There is no end to the chores that need to be completed in the yard. My husband jokes that if you have too much time on your hands, just head outside and that problem will be taken care of.
