Tales of the Unexpected
After a few photos this morning that were uninspiring, I was keeping my eye out during the day for something else to turn up.
I planned my lessons for next week and then made Pirate Flint for one of my tutees who I'd promised a clay figurine if he could draw and label him. It was a possible blip but it was getting late and he was still in the oven.
I decided to see if there was any weather homing in at the Cow & Calf rocks as the sun was setting. I drove up with the dog and noticed some mist forming in the valleys. It had potential.
As I pulled up, I spotted four lads looking upwards.
The red and green flashing lights of what I think (after a little research) is the rather spectacular DJI Phantom 2 Vision Quadcopter awaited in the dusky light. As I stood and watched while taking off my polarising filter, I was horrified to realise they were packing away!
However, with only a little encouragement and expression of disappointment from my part, the beast was fitted back together and airborne again... just for me.
The dance was an added bonus.
I had a grin on my face whilst taking the photos (and actually, all the way home.) These lads were lovely and seriously enjoying their new toy vehicle.
