Bit of a lazy morning, the rain tapping on the window wasn't really enticing me outdoors..!
But decided just to get out & go for an explore...
I'm so glad I did!! The rain cleared just before I got to Ipswich, and the sun came out as I drove along the road by the river Orwell towards Pinmill.
I parked up & took a walk along the national trust footpath that runs through woodland along side the river!
Several house boats line the river edge to start with... (In slightly better condition than these poor souls!)

So much more to explore down there!

Met up with my sister for lunch, we went to a vegetarian cafe in Ipswich, which was delicious!! Then we visited a little coffee shop for a drink & slice of cake, sat in a lovely little courtyard in the sunshine while we put the world to rights... Quite lovely indeed!
