Tim Winton

We went to Hay on Wye for the literary festival and, specifically, to hear Tim Winton speak. There was a lot, obviously, to do with his new book Eyrie, but he also gave us some really interesting insights into his creative process (he usually starts with a place and then imagines who would inhabit it) and his inability proactively to solve problems - leave them for a while and they will either go away or cure themselves. I wish.
