Brabham Court

Blip in memory of Sir Jack Brabham, who died in Australia this week, and whose car sales garage used to occupy this site at the top end of Worcester Park. Brabham was a true great motor racing driver, having built and designed his own F1 car and then winning the world championship with it. Not like the pampered puffed up drivers of today who think they're great but in fact owe most of it to the car - F1 stopped being a proper sport decades ago (in my opinion).

Anyway, after the garage closed, this surprisingly stylish block of flats was built ion the early 2000s, and it bears Brabham's name to this day.
