Pilgrim's Path

Very early bus to Soller and then a taxi to Fonts de Noguera to begin our hike. We climbed steadily through the forest and emerged into the most spectacular mountain scenery and continued to climb to the Col des Prat, Massanella mountain (1392m) to one side and this view to the coast on the other. We could look down into the gorge which runs all the way down to the coast at Sa Colobra. Our descent followed the Pilgrim's Path to the monastery at Lluc.

The scale of the mountains here and the rugged majesty of the landscape has been way beyond my preconceived ideas about Majorca.
