Woven heart

How patient you are in your love,
Creator and Nurturer of all that is seen and unseen.
Watching as each blade of grass struggles through the soil ,
each trickling brook finds it's pathway to the sea .
How patient you are with those you call by name,
and visit , bringing startling news .
Watching as they , and we , seek to make sense of your presence in our lives,
in my own seeking to understand all you call to birth from deep within me.
How patient you are in your love ,
Creator and Nurturer of us , who you call " my children " , of me , who you call " my child " .
You watch with infinite patience as I struggle to find my own way in life,
and you are with me in patient guidance.
You seek out the beauty and the potential within me ,
as you did with Mary ,
to draw from me all that l am , and all that l can be .
Be with me in patient waiting ,
that l may know it too .
