8 Months Old

Every month we say the same thing....where is time going!

Minnie decided to celebrate turning 8 months old by standing up in her cot......at the turn of midnight :0

It is her new trick and she delighted in sitting down and pulling herself to standing over and over again......she is one active little girl, she doesn't do being still! Along with the Tigger like bouncing it explains why she is a teeny little lady - the dress she is wearing today is 0-6 months. We now play the 'where's Minnie' game.......for a little lady she sure is speedy crawling around! After a few nights of sleeping through she has decided that midnight is party time for the last two nights.......this and the snot makes me think we have another run of teething to get through.

Today we went to Solihull and met Helena and Ronan for lunch. He is such a big boy, he weighs more than Minnie despite not being 4 months yet. H is very tall so he is certainly following in her footsteps, he gave us the most wonderful smiles today :)

A quick look in John Lewis at Travel Cots and buggies as well as the clothes but we were good and made no purchases just yet.

The day flew by and we are now waiting for dinner to warm up and having a glass of wine. Si is watching the football whilst I try not to be distracted by the lap top but pick up my book club book - Dan Brown's Inferno.
