Dead.

This is all that remains of my parents lovely Japanese Maple.
Not sure what happened to it, but it's as dead as a Dodo!

Not a single leaf nor bud, and the branches just snap with ease.

Hopefully they'll replace it with a new small one to take its place.

Had a horrendous drive up north, with torrential rain and spray for almost the entire way.
The new satnav diverted me away from the M18 due to delays, but it still took 6 hours to get here.

Got to do it all again tomorrow - in reverse; then up again next weekend.

Oh well. Champions league final then bed
