Mosaic girl

Busy day and then on to an event on the future of publishing after work. It was a good opportunity for some networking and to hear about new developments in the publishing world - there are lots of start ups looking at text mining, metrics and content aggregation. This statue of a girl made from mosaic pieces of old china was in the foyer where we had the chat after the talks.

Got back to the station at around 10 and was able to have a quick meet up with some old work colleagues. One of them is moving to the US with her family and it will probably be the last time I'll see her for a while. It was great to be able to wish her good luck in person.

Home in time for a sandwich before bed.
