To Finish the Job

All the onions and leeks have now been planted out. I have had the day on the job and frankly am now quite ready to stand back and admire the view!

The taller greenery in the middle of this bed are three rows of garlic plants. These were planted out in late autumn last year. They have suffered a bit from an attack of rust and I have had to spray them and will have to spray again shortly. All in all there are about 500 alliums in this bed.

Oh and thank you DarkTulip for your kind and timely suggestion to plant carrots amongst the onions. There are a couple of rows hidden amongst this lot!

I can feel a glass of elderflower champagne coming on....
