Lazy Day

Anne and Harold left this morning for the long drive back to Corvallis. It's always delightful to see them, and a little sad when they leave.

Dana found the frog pot under a bush this morning, right where we shoved it when we brought it up from Berkeley a year and a half ago. She returned later in the day with green lipped petunias and planted them. They are the perfect colors and make a jaunty hat .

Ozzie got a bath this morning, and is currently sleeping it off.

I painted a little today, working on a still life of tulips, which are long gone now.

OilMan has gone to the store for some ingredients for a big salad for dinner.

It's such sad news about the Glasgow School of Art. My heart goes out to everyone who has put so much into it over the years. I'm glad no lives were lost, but so many other intangible and irreplaceable things have gone up in the flames.
