Sloth appearance number 3...

History of numbering the title for today's blip here.

I did not plan on going to the university today but the noise of the work being done in the house was unbearable by 12nn. The pounding of the hammer and the throwing of bricks from the roof to the ground were just too much for me today. But i guess this is a blessing in disguise as i usually get a lot of work done when i am in the uni than in my flat. Downside to it is that I spend a lot of money on buying food/coffee. I bought a bottle of coke today and the names on the front replacing the coca-cola logos are back. I bought the one that says "Bestie" because i miss my bestie (bestie's photo here) so much! She is in Indonesia having a nice vacation. Away from the very unstable political chaos of Thailand.

I got to do good progress with work today. Some experiment results were giving me insights on the goods and bads of my algorithm. I realized that my move to parallelize my code is not doing much to reduce the computational time as i have too much of the serial part. I may have to recheck all the lines of the code again and convert more serial regions to parallel.

Sloth today is joined by Kagawad (the white bear beside Sloth) This bear was a Christmas gift from my Mom when i went back home last December. She named it Kagawad (Councilor in English) to remind me of her (my mom is a town councilor in our neighborhood). I quite like this photo because it seems like they are being animated by their facial expressions. Sloth being the cute stuff toy that he is while Kagawad, giving this unapproving smirk to Sloth.
