Snippet
We had a slow start to the morning after our late night yesterday, but by this afternoon we were ready to get out of our studio flat and have a stroll around Olargues.
It's a very old village, laid out in what seems to be a completely organic, non-linear way, so it's hard to do a systematic walk and think you've seen everything. Instead, your eye is continually caught by a detail on a door, or a glimpse through a gate, or the color of a shutter, or one of the many cats darting by on an errand known only to itself.
This was one of my favorite images from today, slightly romanticized by one of the iPad filters. We were out to dinner tonight with our friends C and J, another wonderful meal produced by a talented chef in a small nearby village, and it's just about to turn midnight, so I will stop!
