Some of the best friends are the ones that you can go a life time without seeing and then pick up where you left off.

We have only a couple of hours. The speed of life ever faster than it ever was all those years ago. Time squeezed into boxes of minutes. Ten minutes for this, 20mins for that. This week, we are both squeezed. I have a photographic exhibition to prepare for and Gayle being a super amazing costume designer is working on the BBC production of 'Wolf Hall". Ours becomes meeting of creative ideas over a bottle of red wine and a pack of dry roasted peanuts. Its Gayles birthday too, so I really should have pushed the boat out and done more. The thing is about friendship, that you dont need to aways go over the top. A collection of items from a local gallery. Gayles easily pleased. She's alive with excitement. I can see how she makes so many people at ease. One minute costume fitting a Tv star the next offering to pack up my works. Thats a flexible friend for you…..x
