I didn't intend to go far today after my busy week of jolly jaunts and another day out planned for tomorrow with a friend, so I just walked along to Deptford market early this afternoon, hoping to buy a few more plants for the garden. Unfortunately, there were no plant stalls, just some tatty old stalls left and others packing up for the day. I decided to hop on the train at Deptford and go up to the City...though I'd no idea where I was going to go! I bumped into a friend I hadn't seen for ages when I got off at London Bridge, who was looking very well dressed and lovely...why do I always bump into people I haven't seen for a while when I'm looking at my scruffiest (well...I had expected to just buy plants then go home and plant them!)

I ended up walking along by the river, crossing over the non-wobbly, 'wobbly bridge', stopped for a coffee. then wandered aimlessly round the streets looking for a snap. I ended up with this shot of Leadenhall Market, with a few bodiless heads having a very early evening drink. I've taken a photo in the same spot many times before, as have many others! Sorry, if I've blipped this before...I can't remember!
