Gin Lane

Alexander stood in the front garden for about four hours today waiting for Isaac to arrive. That was after our pre-8 am Tesco trip... When our visitors finally arrived we had a good afternoon (for small boys) of tussling and poking and scooting.

The afternoon was marred by the news about the Glasgow School of Art. I really had to wipe my eyes; it's an awful tragedy. Although most recent updates suggest most of the structure and a lot of the contents have been saved. I suppose we'll know more soon about the extent of the damage.

Anyway. we needed gins all round.
