Very striking and more than six feet tall, although short lived (dies off in early July) this architectural plant is one of the finest in the garden at this time of year. It is traditionally used in cake baking (candied stems) What I would like to know is how to make a moisturising cream from it. Anyone know or have any experience of making creams from garden plants? Now is the time.
