Paint your own sunshine

Cold, wet and grey for most of the day, but a least I wasn't tempted to venture far so lots of pre holiday tidying and cleaning was done. My only distraction was to bake a cake to take to my friends to have with our afternoon tea before we collected the children from school for the holidays.

C asked me a few weeks ago to buy her a canvas to paint a new picture for her room, It's still a work in progress but her sunny beach scene may be the only bit of sunshine we see this bank holiday.
